Pam's obituary
Pamela (Burr) Walker, 53, of Bayfield, CO, peacefully passed away in her home and was reunited with her father, Morris Arnell Burr and brother Richard Arnell Burr on May 1st, 2023. She was born on May 31st, 1969, to Iris and Morris Arnell Burr in Panguitch, UT.
Her family moved to Green River, WY where she attended school, K-12, graduating from Green River High School in 1987. While growing up she was on several different dance teams and enjoyed many activities and social events.
Pam had the personality and natural charisma to make friends no matter the situation, her laugh was infectious to everyone around her and you felt her love in her warm hugs. Her many stories and jokes kept us all entertained and laughing until our faces hurt. Her heart of gold and contagious smile lit up even the darkest room.
Pam was the loving mother of Cory Burr, a wonderful mother-in-law to Naomi Burr and doting grandmother to Peyton, Cambria and Lyric. She loved dancing in the rain with her grandbabies and sharing stories about them. Paddle boarding on Lemon Lake and Animas River with her sister and friends was one of her favorite pastimes. Pam was truly a bright light whose impact will be forever felt by her family, who love her dearly. She never hesitated to place that phone call just to check in or chat it up. Her signature sign off, “LOVE YOU LONG TIME,” will be greatly missed. She was a selfless woman whose passing has left an unfillable gap in the hearts of her loved ones.
Pam is survived by her mother, Iris Burr, brothers David Burr, Dirk Burr (Marcy Burr); sister Natalie (Burr) Coleman; son Cory Richard Burr (Naomi Burr), grandchildren Peyton, Cambria, and Lyric; husband Pat Walker; nieces Jessica Burr, Jessen Chynoweth, Courtlyn Burr; nephews Joshua Burr (Shailee Burr), Jordan Burr (Nikki Burr), Riley Burr, Tate Chynoweth, Kale Burr, Javen Coleman, and Nixin Coleman; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and her furry cat companion (P.I.T.A).
