Pamela "Pam" Sue (James) Minor, age 74, passed away peacefully at her home in Yates Center, Kansas, on April 2, 2025.

Pam was born on August 13, 1950 in Wichita, Kansas, to Lowell and Evelyn (Andrews) James. She attended Iola schools and graduated with the class of 1968.

Pam was full of love for her numerous friends and family, and all animals. She was a strong Christian, enjoyed reading from the Bible, and was a member of Fellowship Regional Church in Iola. She became especially close to the ladies in her Bible study. Pam loved to plant and care for flowers, always making her home beautiful inside and out. Above all, Pam cherished her time spent with her grandchildren.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Rob Wekell.

She is survived by her husband, Jon Minor; children, Derek Cox of Lincoln, Nebraska, Mollie (Manizha) Cox of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Thealvin (Kalley) Minor of Iola; grandchildren, Kinsley, Evie, and Ezra Cox of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Kaiden and Landyn Minor of Iola; sister, Connie Wekell of Tacoma, Washington; and brother, Doug (Bonnie) James of The Villages, Florida.

A funeral service for Pam is planned for 10:30 AM on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas. Family will greet friends just prior to the service, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Memorials in Pam's name are suggested to Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF) and may be left in the care of funeral home staff.
