Background
By raising money for the Melanoma Research Alliance, we can only hope that more information and eventually a cure will be found for this heartbreaking and aggressive form of cancer.
Additionally, our mother was an avid supporter of animal rescue charities -- she has been donating to the ASPCA for many years. She's always been concerned with the wellbeing of animals and donating to the ASPCA in her honor would bring her great comfort.
