Pam's obituary
Pamela Sue Green, 67, of Moore Oklahoma, passed away in the early morning hours of May 27th, 2023 with her family by her side.
Pamela was born to Lonnie and Christine Brown on July 11th, 1955 at Capitol Hill Hospital in Oklahoma City. Pamela is survived by her husband Curtis Green, her son Brandon Green and his wife Alisa Green, sister Joyce (Brown) Fasgold and her husband Allen Fasgold, brother Bill Brown and his wife Brenda Brown. She is also survived by her beloved grandson John Green and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Lonnie and Christine Brown, siblings Betty (Brown) Newport, Bob Brown, and Carol (Brown) Martinez.
Pam graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1973. She married the love of her life Curtis Green in 1976, and together they lived and celebrated a life of love together at their home in Moore, Oklahoma. In 1984 she became the loving mother to her son Brandon Green and her greatest joys in life were volunteering at his elementary school, hosting play dates with the neighbor kids, and going above and beyond in her title as “Mom”. When she wasn’t a stay-at-home mom, she had a career in banking that spanned a lifetime. It’s in that career that she found incredible friendships and some of her best memories were spent getting together for dinner and celebrating each other’s lives. When she wasn’t volunteering in Brandon’s elementary school classrooms, or shopping with her friend Lori, Pamela could be found cruising with her husband in a classic Mustang (or Ford Pinto), and as a family they loved to vacation in Estes Park, Colorado. There is no one Pamela loved more than her family, especially her husband, son and more recently her beloved grandson John. Pamela loved and cared for everyone she encountered, and the highest achievement in her life was earning the title of Mom to Brandon and Grammy to John.
Funeral services will be held on Friday June 2, 2023 at 2pm at John Ireland Funeral Home in Moore, Oklahoma with a reception to follow. The family would like to invite all that loved and cherished our sweet Pam to join us in celebrating her beautiful life.
