Pamela's obituary
Pamela Anne Deyoe, 78, of Pahrump, NV, passed away on January 7, 2024. She was born on September 14, 1945, in Story City, IA, to her beloved parents Bill and Shirley Rod. Pam was a loving and caring individual with a kind heart and a great sense of humor. She was a good friend to many and will be deeply missed by her community and neighborhood.
Pam had a passion for education and dedicated her career to being a Special Education Teacher. She taught lastly in Las Vegas, NV before retiring and made a positive impact on the lives of her students. Pam's commitment to her profession was admirable, and her legacy as an educator will live on.
In her free time, Pam enjoyed traveling and exploring different parts of the United States. She and her long-time companion, John, embarked on many adventures together, exploring the country by motorhome. Pam also found joy in simply spending time in her back yard in Pahrump, appreciating the beauty of nature.
Pam leaves behind her domestic partner John, as well as her mother, Shirley, and her brother, Steve, both residing in Iowa. She will be remembered for her kindness, caring nature, and her ability to bring laughter to those around her.
Pam's passing leaves a void in the hearts of her loved ones and those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.
Pam wishes were to be cremated upon passing and some of her ashes will be sent back to her family in Iowa for arrangements there. A celebration of life and ash scattering is also being planned for her here in Pahrump or nearby. Please check back here on everloved.com for information in the coming days.
