Pam's obituary
Pamela Dawn Crow, aged 71, passed away on September 6, 2024, in Paris, Texas. Born on January 31, 1953, Pamela's life was marked by her bright sense of humor and her ability to light up any room she entered.
Pam graduated from John Brown University. She began her professional life as a paralegal, becoming the first female paralegal to be published in a law journal in Arkansas. In her 30s, she discovered that teaching was her true passion. Over the next three decades, she taught at Baptist Preparatory School, Southwest Christian Academy, Grace Academy, and Legacy Academy. She had a knack for creating fun in her classroom and accommodating any learning style.
Pam was deeply involved in her community and her church, Chapel of the Pines. She enjoyed worshipping, both with her voice and in ASL. She loved a terrible pun and always had a joke ready. Above all, she was joyful and looked forward to being with the Lord.
Pam is survived by her loving husband, John Crow; her son, Cary (Hannah) Taylor; and her siblings, Cherree, Kathy, and Paul Glenn. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Rawls.
A celebration of Pam's life will be held Saturday, September 28th at 10:30 a.m. at Chapel of the Pines, located at 9276 N US Hwy 259, Broken Bow, OK 74728. The family welcomes all who knew and loved Pam to join in commemorating her.
