Pamela Bean Short, born on January 6, 1960 in Clanton, Alabama, to the late Mary Reese Allen and Billy L. Bean, tragically lost her battle with stage 4 gallbladder cancer on Monday, August 5, 2024 at her home, in Marbury, Alabama, surrounded by her devoted family members. Pamela was the loving wife of the late Danny Ray Short. She was proceeded in death by her parents, as well as Kimberly Bean Shroyer(sister), and Jacob Lee Curry(nephew).

Pamela is survived by her sons, Cory (Tiffany Lammon) Bean, Robert(RT) Lammon(Michelle); Daughters Amy Short Hernandez(Margarito), Danielle van’t hof-Smith(Austin), Nevada Short; Grandchildren ; Larashae Short, Madison Bean, Kyrah van’t Hof, Javier Hernandez, Emersyn van’t Hof, Jaxx van’t Hof, Lincoln van’t Hof, Reign Wilson Smith, Saben van’t Hof, Serenity Smith, Gray van’t Hof, Robert(RJ) Lammon, Melanie(Mia) Bean, and Maxwell(Max) Bean.

As per her final wishes, Pamela was laid to rest beneath her favorite oak tree at sunset. Pamela was a one of a kind woman. She was loving, strong, generous, compassionate, and full of wisdom. She loved her family dearly, and lived for her children and multitude of grandchildren. Pamela touched so many lives and will be deeply missed. Please keep her grieving family in your thoughts and prayers.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to cover the costs of her private burial.
