Pamela's obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Pamela Barton. Born on December 29, 1962, she left this world on October 17, 2024, at the age of 61. She is survived by her sister Dianne Paris, her children, Holly Barton, Brandon Barton and Whitney Brueggert, as well as her grandchildren, Austin, Bella, Kanon, Brody, Jax, and Kenzli. She was predeceased by her mother Nancy Brown, father Mark Brown, and brothers Leland and Neil Brown.
Pamela was known for her wit, a trait that brightened many lives, including her own. Despite her propensity for tardiness, she had a sweet, caring nature that endeared her to everyone. She was also known for her tempered and generous spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on.
Throughout her life, Pamela imparted wisdom to those around her. Among the most memorable of her teachings was the importance of clear communication - "Never leave words unspoken" she often declared. In addition, she emphasised the need to be conscious of one's words, reminding us all never to utter regrettable things because "you never know when the last time is the last time."
Pamela's greatest pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. They were not just her family, but her most significant achievement. With every conversation, every hug, every shared moment, she imparted the values of love, kindness, and generosity.
Her legacy will be one of unfaltering generosity and forgiveness. She believed in the power of forgiving, not for the other person, but for one's peace of mind. This wisdom is a testament to the immense capacity of her heart.
Through her laughter, her smile, and the joy she brought into every room, Pamela has left an indelible mark on all of us. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit and teachings will remain forever alive in our hearts.
