Pamela's obituary

Pamela Bailey Gilmore, 72, of Rochester NY, passed away on November 3, 2025. Born on September 5, 1953, Pam graduated from Westmoreland Central Schools and spent most of her adult life in Sherrill, NY.

Pamela was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who cherished her family above all else. Her personality was magnetic; she had a gift for making people laugh with her quick wit and sarcasm, while also showing endless kindness and generosity. Affectionately known as “Grammy Pammy” to her grandchildren, Pam welcomed everyone with an open heart. She cherished her family deeply, celebrating traditions and everyday moments with love and laughter. Her spirit continues to inspire those she loved. She worked diligently in many IT, Programmer Analyst, positions. Central NY employers were Oneida Molded Plastics and the Turning Stone Casino.

She is survived by her children Wayne Dam and his wife, Denise; Kim Dam; Courtney Ledesma and her husband, John; and Phillip Neumann; her grandchildren Colin and Alexis Dam, Ashton and Ava Ledesma; and her siblings Rochelle Hamel, Neil Kaiding, Tanis Loera, Shane Sia, Debbie Owens, and Kevin Bailey, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Doris Bailey of Oneida, NY, and Allen Bailey of Pennsylvania.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday November 9th at 2pm at Three Voices Presbyterian Church 5711 E Main Street Verona NY.
