Pamala R. Tharp, 59, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Vassar Brother’s Medical Center. She was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in Kent, CT, daughter of Vicki Becker and the late Frank Becker, Sr. She graduated from Housatonic Valley Regional High School and was a resident of Hyde Park, NY. Pamala made a career with the federal government for 29 years. A loving wife, mother, and friend, her memory will be cherished by her husband Thomas Tharp, son Thomas McGivern IV, daughter Jessica Lopez, mother Vicki Becker, sister Sandra Becker, niece Michaela Groves, niece Kirsten Groves. She was predeceased by her father Frank Becker, Sr., and her brother Frank Becker, Jr. There will be a Celebration of Her Life on Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 2 to 5 PM at the Kent Community House, 93 N Main St, Kent, CT.
