My little Poot ... There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about you, let alone miss you like crazy. Yes, you were obviously beautiful, but I saw more in you. I always believed that one day we would be best friends, regardless of our nearly 18 year age difference. I understood you in a way you didn't even get the opportunity to do so yourself. For whatever stupid reason (if any at all), you got denied the chance to truly shine like I always believed you would. Instead of RIP, I hope you're free from the pain and the anxiety that plagued you. If dreams and prayers do come true, you're unencumbered by everything that held you back, and you've found that peace and tranquility you desired. I just wish we could get a second chance/reset to watch your glowing star rise as bright as your giant smile and loving eyes. I miss you more than words.

Partially because of our huge age gap, we were often doing different things in different phases of our lives. However, we still had lots of fun when we got together - which I was hoping would happen more frequently as she got older. I can still remember how happy she would be to see me and give me a HUGE hug and in turn how special and loved this made me feel each and every time. If I had to pick an event that I thought would be one of our most fun times, it would be when we all celebrate my 40th birthday together. Paige and her girlfriend Julirose, as well as myself and my boyfriend (at the time) all went parasailing and then out to a fancy dinner. We all laughed, soaked up the sun, and stuff our bellies with good food and wine. And of course she looked stunning as always with her bright red lipstick. 🥰
