We met Matos when Crown Outreach Ministries church was been remodeled and he came to offer his services as handyman. First, he started working as volunteer but he worked so good that we hired him. As Matos was working and restoring the house of God, God was working and restoring Matos. He accepted the Lord as his savior, got baptized in the river, served as volunteer in the soupkitchen. He became family. We will forever thankful to God for meeting and sharing with Matos. A man with a humble and servants heart. By faith, we will see you again in heaven Matos. May you rest in His eternal peace!

Even though I knew "Matos" for a short period of time but, I did care and cherished him. He was a great man, caring, helpful and didn't expect anything in return. He shared his knowledge and help and gave of his time to help with the construction of our church and I cannot be more grateful, his memory and joyful spirit will forever be carried in my heart and in Crown Outreach Ministries. Acere!!! Que bola!!! I'll see you soon brother, You won!!! Rest peacefully in the arms of our Lord. I love you

I love you guys so much and trust me and believe that I am mourning with you I know that God is with us and he said he never leave us nor for sake us he’s watching out for all of us I love you guys.

Meeting him for the first time at Star’s baby shower, he gave me the greatest handshake and hug.

Apparently Sue had said how happy she was being with me, and the fact that we were expecting made him truly over joyed.

My Spanish is horrible, but we tried our best to communicate and we had many laughs that day.

He will be missed.
