So sorry to learn of my cousin Oren's passing.  My family visited Oren and his family in Colorado Springs many times as I was growing up and these wonderful visits continued into adulthood.  Aunt Opal, Uncle Mac, Oren, Tom, and Mary were all very special to us and we loved them all.  Louise, you and the entire family are in our prayers!!  Bill Temple

RIP Chief.

He was the second person I met at the 147th.   He agreed to bring me on and was able to have me trained/OJT with the Active Duty Security Police at Ellington AFB.

We were involved with many dignitaries, presidential visits which required our support.

Chief, you’ll be missed by the 147th SFS crew.  You were my mentor as well and helped me on a personal level.  I’m glad you got to spend your last few years in your home state with your family.  Rest in peace my friend.  Your work here is done.   Condolences to your family.

Most Sincerely,

John Kraft

Oren was a great neighbor and friend. But most importantly, he was a great Patriot! We will miss him and wish we were still neighbors so we could wrap our arms around Louise and comfort her at this sad time.  Bill & Marilyn

Dear Louise,

I am so sorry for your loss. I loved Oren as a school mate and friend. He truly made this world a better place. My entire life was heavily influenced by us Panthers. You were blest to have those years  together as he was to have you. I look forward to  our greatest reunion in heaven🙏. Come Lord Jesus come!!

Sorry to hear of Chiefs passing. I felt like we had a bond just as though we were brothers.

He will be missed!

My condolences to Chief's family. I first met Chief when I arrived to Ellington Field in 1988. He showed many young troops just what it meant to lead and mentor those coming up the ranks behind us. He is missed dearly.  Our prayers go out to Louise and family during this time.
There are just no words! So many wonderful memories we will all cherish. Take it one day at a time with your wonderful family and I hope you’ll all come to Pagosa soon. Hugs🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼😪
The world is a better place because of Chief McClure’s contributions. He was a true friend since 1970. He was my military mentor for many years. I will miss him as if he was my big brother. Go rest high on that mountain,Chief. Your work on this earth is done.
Dear Louise  and family may God be with you in this time. I have so enjoyed all our fun times and visits we have had over the years. Oren will be missed. Love you please stay in touch.
