It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Orben Quick, a beloved family man and pillar of his community, who left this world on October 15th, 2025. Born on February 10th, 1979, Orben lived a fulfilling life filled with love, joy, and faith.
Orben's legacy of determination and love will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sheryl Allen; his daughters Amanda Quick and Elizabeth Ledbetter; his granddaughter, Chloe Quick; his grandson, Blake Quick; his sister, Rachel Smith and Tina Wellsburry; and his brother, Robert Tills.
A lifelong attendee of the Church of Christ, Orben's spirituality was the guiding force in his life. He embodied the lesson that everything you need in life, God will provide, and shared this wisdom with his family and friends. His love for his church and his love for God were interchangeable, and his faith was a testament to his character.
Orben will be fondly remembered for his love of The Titans, his favorite sports team, and his appreciation for the music of Johnny Cash. An enthusiast of ribeyes and potatoes, Orben was also a man of simple tastes who relished in life's straightforward joys. He was hard-loving, crafty, and caring, qualities which made him a beloved figure in his community and among his loved ones.
Orben lived a life marked by love and determination. His magnetism drew people to him, and through his teachings, many discovered the divine power of love and the essence of determination. We will always remember Orben for the loving and devoted person that he was, and we trust that his memory will continue to guide and inspire us in the years to come.
