Mrs. Opal Holder Owens age 87, of Rome, GA, died Saturday, November 3, 2012, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Owens was born in Rome, GA, on January 13, 1925, the daughter of the late Thomas Curtis Holder and Bessie Garrett Holder. She retired from the Floyd County Superior Court System after serving thirty years as a deputy clerk and was a lifelong member of Pisgah Baptist Church. Mrs. Owens loved needle work and won many …
