Ojo was a smart and humble friend. Its a shame he left us this early. But it is good he knew God so, I know he is in a better place. I will sure miss him. Rest in peace my brother.
Ojo Omotayo, and I met resumed on the same day at Schlumberger Anadrill base in Port Harcourt. We sat at the then Personnel Manager's office all day just steering at him to attend to us. This was 7th Sept 1996. Since then our friendship grew. Ojo is a brilliant engineer, articulate, detailed, patient, disciplined, focused, religious, forgiving, nice, and a gentleman that can never hurt a fly. Sometimes one wonders why God calls the "Good" so quickly. Ojo illness and death just reminds us that it could have been any of us.
We were there for you when the sickness started, whilst you struggled through it and till the end. We are only human and can only do things that are humanly possible.
To the family, his wife, Almighty God knows you gave it your all. And only Him can reward you appropriately.
Adieu, Rest in peace Ojo Omotayo, God will surely take care of your family on your behalf through family and friends. We will miss you.
The departure is too soon! I weep! Yes, I do. You are a gentle soul. You are a good man. You were my colleague and friend.
To your family, I say, Please accept our deepest condolence 😔. Really sad to hear. It's really hard to comfort at these times, however, it is the way of mankind. A transition out of this plane. May his memories with you & family be good ones. We commiserate with you. God's grace & fortitude be upon the family. 🙏🏽🍃 Regards Val
