Will never ever forget Ojo, the good heart, peaceful human, decent, humble, a man of high morals and ideal Christian person. I can not forget him, always his angel smile face in front of me  ........ I loved him so much, he is in Heaven now.

Osama Fattah

Oga Ojo, may your gentle and kind soul continue to rest in the Lord. Your exit and that of Femi has been irretrievably shocking to me. But, as the scripture teaches us, in everything thing, good or bad, we must give thanks. I thank God that we crossed paths. Rest on!
Tayo, I am profoundly saddened by the news of your untimely death. When we reconnected again in late 2018 after losing contact for over two decades following our secondary school education, I looked forward to the prospect of our physical reunion. That is now a pipe dream!

May the Lord comfort your family and loved ones. Rest well, dear friend until we meet again in eternity.

Ojo as we all called him was a kind hearted man. We met as colleagues working at Schlumberger over twenty years ago. His work ethics were impeccable and service delivery excellent. He was meticulous and always ready to share knowledge.

I got to know Ojo better when we worked at DEPTHWIZE. We became friends and then family. Ojo was a wealth of knowledge. He was my technical sounding board. If he could not give you a solution he pointed you in the right direction to get one. I would call him and say “Let me tap into your brain”and his response was always “Go ahead”. He was hardworking and a man of integrity. I remember one of the things he said to me during our last meeting; “Knowledge is not the problem with most people but being consistently upright.” Ojo was dependable and consistently did the right thing. He was fun to be with and could take jokes as much as he gave.

It started suddenly and in no time ill health slowed my brother down. We prayed, we saw him fight but God had the final say.

You were an amazing father. I watched you parent your children even while battling your own challenges. Ojo you will be sorely missed. I look at your picture and the pain of your passing is refreshed. I am consoled knowing you loved God and that you are singing and dancing with the angels.

Sleep on brother till we meet again
I will forget those long "IDEAL" nights and days we spent together when the best entertainment was watching choppers land and take off. The ever-present smile on your face as you instructed me and urged me on. You will live forever in my memories.

I'm still in shock on hearing you're no longer with us..

I still remember with fondness our days in Anadrill Port Harcourt, and the care with which you looked after us "new recruits"; looking after our development, and instilling in us a level of discipline which I have endeavored to carry forward to this day... On the few jobs we worked together, I fondly recall the calmness with which you did things, and your attention to detail where you left hardly anything to chance...

I recall it took me quite a while to realize that Ojo was actually your last name and not your first name... Not until I asked and you set me straight... Not with attitude, but with the humility which was your hallmark...

Adieu my friend...

God knows best...
All we have to look forward to is to when we all meet to part no more...

Rest well mom ami...

My condolences and prayers to the Ojo family at this time..
May God give you all the fortitude to bear this immeasurable loss...

I read the news of your demise with heavy heart and typing this message with trembling fingers. We had crossed paths prior to my DD journey, and you came across as that description of a perfect gentleman. That description stayed true to life even at the start of my DD journey, training and trained under you. Words cannot express the degree of positive impacts you had on me and others that had the privilege to associate with you. We will surely and truly miss you!
You were such a rare coach and mentor. May the good Lord grant your Soul eternal rest. May the Almighty Father provide for and protect the family you left behind. Adieu!!!
No message of condolence could ever do justice to the kind of person you were. You were a kind and honest man. Your smile, so captivating yet wasn't your best feature. Your humility was. Rest I'm Peace , dear friend and we pray that Almighty God will continue to watch over those you left behind. Amen.
This news is so shocking and so sad! Omotayo Ojo was a solid and reliable engineer in the Anadrill Schlumberger Warri team that I was fortunate to be managing between 1998 and 2000. I can never forget his cool, calm and calculated demeanor that inspired confidence in all.
We will greatly miss him and we pray for the peaceful repose of his Soul and for God to grant us all but most especially his wife and children the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Go in peace dear Omotayo Ojo.

I was surprised to read your demise on a Facebook page. I had to make calls to confirm it. What a shock. My condolences to your wife, children and family. May your soul Rest In Peace
You were a gentleman to the core my dear friend. You were easy going and ready to share whatever you knew as an LWD engineer. I learnt a lot from you and can never forget your kind nature. This world will miss you and I for sure will definitely miss you. Adieu Chief Ojo Omotayo and May your soul rest in perfect peace 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Heart breaking. Rest In Peace dear friend. May the good Lord comfort, protect and keep those you left behind.
We met sometimes around 1996 at Daystar Parish, RCCG and came across as a humble, quiet and reserved friend / brother. You took a big risk in 2001 when I needed help with a request (a step most men will not attempt). I’m broken with this news and I pray that your memory will be a blessing to everyone that knew you on this side of eternity.
Good night, brother!
Oga Ojo,

You were a real gentleman. You were truly humble. You respected everyone, even the very least. You are more than honorable.
I can't believe you're no more. I can't believe I won't see Ojo Omotayo any longer. It's unbelievable.
May God accept your gentle soul and give you everlasting rest. Amen.

Uzoma Nduka (Ph.D).
Ore mi good night. God only knows the reason for the early home call. I pray that he grants the bereaved the fortitude to bear the loss. Surely we shall meet to part no more.
I was a trainee when I first met you and all through the job you were full of smiles and explained everything to me to the beat of my understand. Lost touch and I cant believe that the next time I will be discussing you is on this page ..thank you so much great mentor...may your gentle and kind soul rest in peace
Ore,

Sleep peacefully in the Bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ till we meet at His Feet to part no more. We Love you, but Jesus love you more,

The news of your transition broke me this morning.
I still my days with you as an MWD engineer in Noble Tommy Craighead. How you taught me well design, basic directional drilling and deployment/operations of the Powerdrive Xceed tool.
You are a such a gentleman, coach and wealth of experience.
May you find rest in the Lord.
My condolences to your lovely family.
Mr Ojo Omatayo was such an amazing man.I met him in 2018 when I started working at Ynsynk Nigeria Limited. He motivated me to be the very best and challenged me to be a better person.I can't forget the great memories we shared having you as our Managing Director. But one thing is sure, your impacts lives on.Rest on,great hero!
Ojo, I trained under you a couple of decades ago as we were drilling for the black gold in the swamps of the Niger Delta. You taught me a lot and very quickly helped me to stand on my own. I eventually took over from you as the lead engineer on that long project as you moved on to another one. Your presence in the logging cabin in the oilfield always brought peace, calm and an overall positive atmosphere. No one could provoke you enough to make you utter one inappropriate word.

But what was remarkable about you was the way you kept in close contact with your trainees and mentees even out of work. You were there to help me through the process of buying my first car and your negotiation skills shaved off a lot from the cost of the car. You were always available to provide guidance on all sorts of issues.

You were a man of integrity and an epitome of humility. I have no doubt you are in a better place. Sleep well, boss.

As for your family, may God console them in ways that only He can.
