We deeply regret to announce the passing of Omar Khan, a beloved husband, father, son, brother and respected pharmacist. Born on January 14, 1980, Omar's vibrant life was tragically cut short by Hurricane Helene's flooding. His loss leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who knew him.

Omar is survived by his wife, Dr. Zubila Shafiq. Omar's legacy lives on in his two wonderful sons Zach and Zayn, a reflection of his values, love, and dedication. He is also survived by his parents, Javed Khan and Surraya Ansa Khan. As well as his brother Mohammad Khan. 

Remembered fondly for his intelligence, deliberate nature, kindness, and consistent drive to help others, Omar was a beacon of guidance to many. He was always ready to Roll up his sleeves and be a servant leader.

One of Omar's greatest accomplishments was making a life for his family in Asheville, nurturing an environment of love, respect, and growth. His professional contribution as a pharmacist was equally impressive, touching countless lives along the way. His dedication to the wellbeing of his patients made him an indispensable asset to the community.

A service to celebrate and remember the life of Omar Khan will be held on October 13, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Green Hills Cemetery. We invite all those whose lives were touched by Omar to join us in paying respects to a remarkable man whose memory will live on in our hearts.

Omar will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and patients. His life exemplified dedication, service, and love. Rest in peace, Omar. Your life's journey may have ended, but your legacy continues to inspire us all.
