Gone too soon - “Even in death the righteous have refuge”. Proverbs 14:32.

May you continue to have refuge in the bosom of your Heavenly Father. Amen.

Cllr Sade Bright & Family

It is very difficult for me to bear this news, my Bro … death is a debt but this was paid far to early. I cannot question God but May he give your family and we that are close to you the fortitude to bear the lost. Rest in his blossom, I will miss you Seye (gogoro). Death 💀 cannot defeat me with this sadden new as I will cherish and celebrate 🎉 you always in my heart ♥️. Sleep well Seye and God grant you an eternal peace🙏🏿

“Gbolly Gbolly” That’s how Uncle Seye always called me and I’ll be smiling like a fowl. He never called me by my name Gbolade. One of my coolest Uncles ever!  I never imagined I would have to talk about him in past tense this soon. Uncle Seye was always lively, funny, understanding and very thoughtful.

When I started my business, he magnanimously gave me a laptop as a token to help facilitate my work. We just spoke about my new plans casually and the next thing I’m receiving a laptop. Whenever  he used my services, he never played the family card on me. He always paid in full and on time.

If there’s anything I have learnt from Uncle Seye… it’s that it’s a whole lot easier to be a good person than a bad person. That being kind, caring and thoughtful is as easy breathing.

Uncle Seye will be greatly missed. I for one can’t still believe he’s gone. However I draw  succor from the thought that God’s plans for us are that of good and not evil…which brings us to an expected end. He’s definitely in a better place, though he’ll always remain in our hearts. Rest on my Sweet Uncle!

Seye my brother, you’re missed. Rest in peace!

My Lovely Uncle,

Growing up, whenever I had a smile, or I laughed, my Dad, your brother, would always say, "e wo be joshua se jo Seye" [Meaning: Guys, look how Joshua resembles Seye].

So, for many years I always wanted to meet, know and interact with this Uncle of mine I resembled so much.

Meeting you, having you as an Uncle, was a blessing, a gift from above. Because you were generous, kind, and a man with high family values. You were very quick to help with any and everything, and honestly, this is the saddest I have been in ages. It's sad to see you go, and it's sad that we couldn't take a picture smiling together; it's sad that you can't be here to receive all the thanks and love I have for you.

But you are in a better place; you've transcended into a place void of pain, tears, worry and suffering. And I know that you will constantly watch over us and guide us.

And now that you've gone to a heavenly place, you will forever live on in our hearts, minds and souls.

Rest on Uncle Seye.

My Sweetest Uncle.

Your passing is the last thing I ever thought I would experience so soon but I trust God always. You were super generous. Life of the party, life of the family too.

I never knew you to be afraid of anything or anyone. You could look whoever in the face and speak your mind in concise emotions not throwing tantrums but able to pass the message and the lesson. You were also a forgiving man. I know you are resting now and all the discomfort is over. You will NEVER be forgotten. You were deliberate about a lot of things you did and Loving your extended family was one of them. You were a fixer. Thank you for the priceless moments shared right from when you used to carry me on your back as a little girl till the love you showed me when I started having my own irrespective of the distance. We will carry on your legacy and your nuclear family will never be alone. Rest on till we meet again someday. I love you.
