Fondly remembered. Painful to me especially that I couldn’t do anything to stop it. Rest on my brother!

Sincere condolences to the family, May God grant the fortitude to bear the great loss.

This world, this life. I miss you my Mr Ogunlana. My friend, my brother , I don't know for how long my tears will be. A month after, it's like you will back soon from this journey.

 I was at yours on Easter Sunday as usual, it was quiet and no one to welcome me in our usual parlance, "Mr D, I don ask Ronke, your brother no go come visit us" and the follow up jolly, jolly.

Your legacy of  love, friendship, worship, family first after God and empowering others will continue to linger in my memory.

Seye, we miss you. Sun re O.

Bros Mi!!!! It has taken me this long to be able to write this, struggled with this. But seeing how people pulled together to give you a befitting send forth to the Lord's bosom, I am comforted that you indeed lived a good life, it is weird coming to the house and not being welcomed by your ever smiling face, no one to say " Deeone, Wagbayi, kilo ma mu". That is who u are, ever welcoming, ginger master. We miss you but heaven gained and Angel. Rest on bruv, we dey here, Ronke and the kids are in good hands. WAGBAYI !!!!
Never a dull moment with Seye…
Never a dull moment with Seye .... always having fun with friends

"SEYE: A poem, a prayer, and a cheer"

Now in this world, there are, different types of people.

The most special inspire, a joy that's irresistible.

It's like they were born to encourage you.

And it never matters, what they are going through.

Just thinking of Seye...

Ha! You want to cheer up & laugh nìyẹn!

"Hey, wetin dey happen gan-an!? How you dey?"

That infectious smile on his face.

Followed always by a cheering phrase.

Disarming you with grace.

Oh how I love how you've run your race.

Seriously... You go to his place.

At work, at church, at home or even at play.

The joyful service of blessing is just the same.

So today, even in our grief;

Yes, as we seek relief;

We ask and wonder about you, our ice-breaker and encourager-in-chief.

We ask ourselves, what would Seye Ogunlana do?

What would you do?

I know one thing for sure...

You'll pick us up from the floor.

Even now I hear your voice from heaven.

Ah? Who's wearing Chelsea number seven?

What more can we say? We thank God for you Seye.

In you, and through you;

Christ's light will never stop to Shine.

So, thank God for you Seye

We thank God for you Ronke. We thank God for you all the kids.

We praise God for you Seye.

We really do.

Thank you

In Jesus Name

Amen

May the Lord grant him eternal rest o Lord . God in His infinite Mercies send His Comfort to his wife, children and the entire family he left behind.

David joined the Atalian Servest team working within the House of Parliament contract in February 2015 as a night Operations Manager. From day one David showed his true colours of being a caring, compassionate colleague, always ready to listen and help others or assist in resolving situations. Whilst David worked closely with many colleagues on the night shift, for other colleagues who worked an opposite day shift, he would be their first point of contact as they started their day and he finished his. David would always meet everyone with the biggest of smiles and warmest of greetings – there can be no better way to start any day! We know that he was a keen sportsman and loved his football and golf and much sport analysis was shared and enjoyed amongst his colleagues.

Although David was a very private man, he spoke with great affection about the things he cared for, or mattered to him in life, and his family and friends were pivotal in everything he did.

When David learnt of his illness he did not want to make a fuss at work and worry his colleagues and was determined to remain strong and positive and fought to the end; often coming into work, when he clearly was not feeling 100% but wanted to remain focused and determined.

David kept in contact with his colleagues throughout his illness, touching base and I know in the final months when we had telephone chats with David, the one resounding thought that lingers in our minds is how he always sent his regards to his colleagues and asked how everyone was……despite enduring much pain and suffering himself …….a true gentleman to the end and one whose life has been taken away far too early.

Westminster will be a sadder place without David but we hope he rests in peace - from all his work colleagues and friends at Atalian Servest. x

Always smiling Seye, may your soul rest in peace. Amen

Dear bro Seye, it is still hard to imagine you're gone. You literally dragged my reserved self to join the chauffeuring team for a conference in  May 2002. Your jovial and warm disposition made it easy to get along with you.

Since then, our mutual love of tennis kept us in touch. I tried labelling you 'African Marc Rosset' for your vicious 1st serve on court but was told 'iron bender' was the choice of the crew.

We shall miss you brother.

Rest on and rest well soldier and comrade.

May God comfort, strengthen and grant His peace and presence to your wife, children, siblings and wider family and friends.

Seye, it’s so sad to hear about your untimely death, but who are we to question the Almighty God. I remember you since the early 90's, even before meeting you again at GH, you were always friendly, you always like having funs within friends and always had a warm smile. You love playing tennis since the 90's and you were an active member of my tennis club - Barking Park Tennis Club. I will always have good memories of you. Sleep well The Gentle Giant Seye (a.k.a Iron bender - as we always call Seye on the tennis courts, due to the heavy power on his 1st services, his 1st services bends the iron net on the tennis court at Old Dagenham Park). We will miss you greatly, especially on the tennis courts. You will NEVER be forgotten.

I pray that the Almighty God will comfort your wife, children and the entire family.

May your kind soul rest in perfect peace IJMN Amen.

To my precious, awesome and handsome Uncle Seye,

I wish I could wake up from this bad dream! My darling Uncle Seye was the very best of humans! The very best of fathers, sons and friends. Infact the very best person I have ever known. He wasn’t perfect but to me, he was pretty close. He meant so much to me. He is the reason I am where I am today. He was there for me when no one else was. Always generous, always kind and always had a word in season. Very wise! This loss is irreplaceable but I take comfort in knowing he is now in a better place where there is no more sorrows or pains. I am happy I made him proud. I am glad he knew how much I loved him. I will forever celebrate the memories we shared. I type in tears… Uncle Seye, I will miss you. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
