Ola's obituary
Ola Tyler finished her work on April 09, 2022 at age 68.
Ola was born to Sevilla Marie Record and Matthew Moreland on January 07, 1954 in Riverside, CA. As a child she expressed her love for people through singing and songwriting.
Ola met her husband, Harold Jr. Tyler in Los Angeles, CA while perusing her musical dreams. They married and went on to have two children, Micah Jonathan (formerly Harold Wilie.) Tyler & Elsie Marie Greene (Tyler). Ola served as the First Lady of Holy Trinity Fellowship Center alongside her husband for almost 30 years.
After finishing her undergraduate studies in Computer Science at Aquinas College, Ola went on to earn a Master’s degree and Cosmetology license. As the owner of Teknon Computers and Ola’s Hair Design, Ola also taught Undergraduate courses at Davenport College in Grand Rapids, MI. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, wife, friend and businesswoman, Ola also loved giving her time and talents back to the community.
Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. Ola was a servant leader at Turning Point Ministry and gifted her musical, computer and cosmetology talents cheerfully.
Ola is preceded in death by her mother and father, her sister, her husband, and a host of family and friends. [She is survived by her son and daughter, her grand-daughter Ase Mosiah Enitanwa, her niece, and countless loved ones in Grand Rapids, MI and Jurupa Valley, CA.
