Odessa "Dezzy" Hall gained her angel wings on January 12, 2023 at her home in Charleston, SC. Odessa  was 84 years old.

Odessa’s  life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint She left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that She stayed here.
Odessa  was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. She was a master of baking , an avid decorator and an amazing singer. When Odessa  wasn't working or cooking, she could be found in the mall. Not a day went by where Odessa  didn't talk about how much her children and family meant to her -- her family was arguably her most important achievement in life.

Odessa is survived by her loving daughter, Misty and grandchildren, Marshaunna, Marie and Maia.  Services are still being organized, but will be held at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in the month of January, day of the 19th.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to breast cancer, an organization Odessa cared for.
