Norman Hinman, 70, passed away on September 22, 2021. Born in Jacksonville, NC and moved around in a military family as a young child until his family settled in Iowa. Served in Vietnam as Morse code interceptor. He spent much of his life in Maryland retiring the last 5 years with his son on Smith Mountain Lake, VA.  He loved his dogs Abby, Jackson and Sandy.  He enjoyed fishing and really any of his son's hobbies. He was dearly loved and will be missed by his friends, two sons Matt and John, and his brother and sisters, Terry, Ellen, Mary, Julie, Colleen, Karen, and Charlie.
