Norma's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Norma Green on March 16, 2024. Born on October 10, 1948, Norma lived a fruitful 75 years filled with love, joy, and laughter. She was a sweet, loving, caring, thoughtful, generous, funny, and vibrant woman, whose warm presence will be greatly missed.
Norma leaves behind to mourn, her beloved children, Timothy and Melisha. Her joy was found within her family, cherishing every moment spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. As a mother, she was the epitome of unconditional love and patience, always prioritizing her family's needs above her own.
As an individual, Norma was a beacon of composure and respect. She believed in treating everyone with kindness and love, a lesson she imparted to all who knew her. This philosophy carried into her professional life as well, where her greatest accomplishment lay in completing her college degree in nutritional education. She was devoted to educating young mothers and families in nutrition.
Norma's legacy will continue to live on not just in the memories of her loved ones, but also in the impact she made as an educator. Her lessons of love, respect, and kindness continue to shape the lives of those she touched. Her legacy of teaching people to love one another and always showing kindness is something that will forever be remembered and passed on.
A memorial service will be held for Norma on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 4:00 PM followed by a reception at the Walnut Community Center located at 3075 North Walnut Rd Las Vegas, NV 89115. It is an occasion to remember her life, share our memories, and show support to those she left behind.
