Norma's obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norma Henry on June 14, 2023. Norma was born on December 24, 1946, to Charles and Gertrude Howard, who predeceased her. A loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Norma will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Tara Janes; son, Michael Henry; granddaughter, Kayla Janes; grandson, Christopher Janes Jr.; sister, Elsie Zanni; brother, Norman Howard; and sister, Shirley Dutt. Her warmth, kindness, and caring nature will be cherished by her family and friends alike.

As a passionate reader, Norma enjoyed all books and took pleasure in sharing her love for literature with others. She was also fond of spending quality time with her great-grandchildren, and her favorite colors were emerald green, yellow, and peach.

Norma's generous spirit was best summarized by her mantra, "Help where you can." Her memory will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her, as she leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and kindness.

A Celebration of Life for Norma will be held on July 1, 2023, from 2 pm to 5 pm PM at 1485 Toomes Ave. Please join us in honoring her memory, and may we all strive to embody her benevolent spirit in our own lives. Rest in peace, Norma; you will be missed by us all.

Potluck style Celebration. Please bring a snack type finger food or drinks to share.
