I usually call aunt Norma for her birthday, when she did not answer I knew something wasn’t right. Oh aunt Norma will be missed, she was the sweetest person I’ve ever known! She was my grandpa Stanley’s sister, I’m so grateful to have had them in my life! May they rest in paradise!
Mama Norma, as I called her, loved deeply, with a heart of gold. I was blessed to be loved by her. Since I was a MK from Liberia, West Africa, we shared many things in common. I remember admiring her "V" ring one day while she was on furlough. I told her mine had gotten stolen and asked her if I gave her money, if she'd get me one when she went back. As a young adult, I didn't have much money, but I gave her $50 to buy me one. Her next furlough, she handed me my ring. She hadn't forgotten! Nor did she tell me if she had to give more money to purchase it! I have always felt loved by my Mama Norma❣Never doubted her love for others and myself.
Joy and family, what a true blessing you were in her life. She loved you and talked about you so often that I felt I knew the great niece already who bore her name!!! 😍 Thank you for loving and caring for her.
We mailed a written tribute memory and contribution to the church regarding Norma which you can read at the funeral if you wish. We loved her and her work. Bruce n Barbara Nash
Aunt Norma was more than just my wonderful Aunt, she was my Best Friend and I look forward to the day that I can join her in Heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
I met Miss Norma because of our dogs while walking around our neighborhood. We became “the little ole ladies” walking our beloved pets every day. We would talk about everything and then ending up at her place for a little refreshment. I miss my dear walking companion but I have wonderful memories.
