Heaven gained an angel 😇

Noreen is my husband’s beautiful cousin.  I adored her.  I joined this ever-growing family over 40 years ago and Noreen has always been a shining star to me.  So kind and gentle.  She always made me feel included and always personally invited us to stuff.  She always called me by my name when she saw me.  That has a way of making you feel welcome and that she was happy to see you.

Anyone who came in contact with Noreen was forever changed in a good way .

She had a beautiful personality and is greatly missed by our family.

Sending love and hugs to heaven

RIP Noreen   ❀

Noreen and I were cousins. . .Being quite a bit older than me, I believe she babysat me and my siblings a few times. . .I remember my mom telling me about Noreen's accident with a train. . .God saved her life! That story really impacted me and I'm still leery of crossing train tracks. Then when we moved to Venezuela for a time. . . Noreen bought our house in Newark...My parents had bought it from the Sarots, so I thought it was so cool that it was staying in the family. As adults we both raised "foster" kids, which I call God children, and I remember thinking I guess it's in the genes and was very encouraged by Noreen. I only wish I could have gleaned more from this wise, and kind woman. I imagine her smile lighting up great portions of heaven.

Dear Cousin Noreen. . . It's hard to believe you have been gone a whole year already...You were the sweetest, most welcoming woman...whether we were stopping in for a quick hello or greeting you at the family reunions. It was fitting that you and Wayne had such a strong role in organizing the family reunions. . .and creating the family tree book. And although I was too far away to take part, the parties you threw were legendary. Whenever I think of the reunions or "visiting" as we called it, I think of you. Your smile and warmth will always stay with me.  I'm so grateful that you and Wayne helped me to organize my mom's family memorial at the reunion in 2011. You loved well and were loved in return by so many. We miss you.

Our deepest condolence to Wayne, your children and grandchildren and the great big VandenBroek clan.  Big hugs and soonchas...

Dear Phillips Family,

During this difficult time I want to give my sincerest condolences. Loosing a loved one is an extremely difficult thing in life, and we are left with heartache and sorrow. May you and and your family find in comfort in knowing that our God Jehovah deeply cares for you and your family. He will soon reverse the effects of death by bringing a resurrection. John 5:28,29 says: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” May this promise that will soon be fulfilled give you strength.

Sending heartfelt condolences to all.  Memories of her kind and loving spirit at many gatherings. She will be missed.

Noreen was so thoughtfull and kind as you could be , She was a major part of the Vandenbroek  family ,  Left so many great memories for us all to share and remember her by .  When I was in my  20s , I was very ill , Noreen would go to the library and do so much research  , and bring me so many books to read about my illness ,  I didn't  have the heart to say     " No more books to please " Noreen lived with us one summer when I was about 16 , I will never for get this , her and Terry went to Santa Cruz,  Noreen had the fairest light skin  , she got so  sun burned , she looked like a tomato when she came home ,  of course at 16 I couldn't help laughing  .

Thanks for the memories,  loved you then love you now ❀

 Your Cousin Belinda
