It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nolena Washington, on July 31, 2025. Nolena, a beloved grandmother, staunch believer, and gifted singer, was born on August 13, 1945.

Nolena lived her life as a testament of love, patience, and faith. She was known for her nurturing nature and unwavering belief in humanity's ability to love and support each other. She had an innate ability to inspire others with her life lessons, teaching many how to manifest patience and persevere through life's challenges.

In addition to being a gifted communicator, Nolena was blessed with a beautiful singing voice that touched many. Her talent was not just her gift but her way of giving back to the world, touching hearts and lifting spirits through her music.

Nolena was predeceased by her daughter, Tracy Bynum. She leaves behind her grandmother, Eugene Smart, along with a host of other family members, friends, and countless lives she touched. Her legacy will always remind us of her trust in God's plan, urging all to stay steadfast in faith and love.
