Dan is my close friend. I believe that God places certain people in our lives to grow us in character. I believe this is especially true with a wife. I believe that God gives wives to some of us to change us at our very core, despite popular opinion. I believe this special relationship goes hand in hand with our sanctification and our ongoing relationship with Him. It forces us to die to ourselves and live for another. I believe that God picked Noelle, in His timing, specifically for Dan. I also believe that Dan will see her again someday and their love will continue. I thank God for Noelle.

My thoughts are with you today as you celebrate Noelle’s beautiful life. She was the cool older cousin but she was kind and indulgent to me, spending time with me despite the age gap when we visited. Noelle’s love and kindness are cherished by everyone who knew her.
