Noah's obituary

Our beloved son, Noah Asher Roth, passed away suddenly on October 15th, 2025.
Fearfully and wonderfully made, and born in Florida, Noah brought light, laughter, and endless curiosity to every day of his 13 years. He was a bright and talented boy who loved learning, building, creating, and asking questions about how everything worked. From a young age, Noah was drawn to making things — whether it was intricate Lego designs, homemade inventions built from bits of wood, metal, and glue, or projects from his 3D printers.
He was a natural on the ice, playing right wing and center in hockey, and took pride in every shot and goal he made. For the past four years, he proudly played with the Arvada Hockey Association — hockey was truly his favorite sport and greatest passion. Always singing (“I always have songs in my mouth,” he’d say), Christmas music was his soundtrack all year long. His favorite holiday was the Fourth of July, when fireworks lit up the sky to match his brilliant personality — full of spark and color. Not to mention he took great delight in creating and setting off his own fireworks!
Noah loved cooking — sometimes creating his own recipes, other times following something he’d found on YouTube. He loved adventure, whether camping, traveling, or visiting family in Scotland. Japan was on his bucket list (to eat sushi at a 7-Eleven), as was snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef.
An 8th grader, gamer, and tech whiz, Noah loved editing videos, playing online with friends and his cousin Carter, and pushing the limits of what he could make. His incredible memory — including the 50 digits of Pi he could recite - reflected his brilliant mind, always buzzing with ideas.
Noah could talk to anyone and made friends easily. As a little boy, he’d head to the park and always find someone to play with. As a teen, he loved talking with adults about anything and everything — because he knew everything! Once Noah had made up his mind about something, no one could convince him otherwise.
He loved animals deeply, especially his loyal dog Liberty, and cared for his birds Rocket and Ramen, his rabbit Oreo, and his fish Peanut Butter and Jelly. He was overjoyed when his birds had a baby he named Frisbee, whom he hand-raised with such love. Noah dreamed of filling the house with as many pets as his parents would allow.
Noah’s sense of humor was one of a kind. He loved making people laugh — especially by jump-scaring his Momma when she least expected it. He loved the water — swimming, kayaking, or paddleboarding — and could spend hours splashing and playing in a pool, river, lake, ocean, bathtub, or even with the garden hose.
Noah had favor everywhere he went — whether it was a store clerk giving him money for the gumball machine, a waitress sending him home with a whole container of caramel sauce, or a hotel staff member giving him ice cream for breakfast. People just loved him.
Recently, Noah had begun starting his own car-detailing business. True to his entrepreneurial spirit, he found customers before he even had all the equipment.
Noah was deeply loved by his family and community and will be profoundly missed on this earth, even as we rejoice knowing he is now living his best life with Jesus. What a gift from above you are to us, Noah — our lives are forever changed.
He is survived by his Dadda, John Edward Roth, and his Momma, Sarah Louise Roth, along with his Grampy and Grammy, John and Joyce Ord. He is also loved and remembered by 15 aunts and uncles, great-aunts, and more than 50 cousins and second cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jim and Jolaine Roth.
Noah Asher Roth — a life lived out loud and unfiltered.
