We’re thinking of you all today especially. My family and I were on the beach by your family a year ago; you asked us to watch your youngest as you ran to help Noah, who had been playing some with our toddler earlier on. As we watched, my little boy and I began praying for him, for you all, for the people helping.

I don’t think there are words for such things. But, in case it gives even the smallest consolation or the most fleeting moment of peace, know that you and your family have been since then in my family’s hearts and prayers, and those of many of our friends as well, and that you’ll remain there. I can’t understand why the prayers weren’t answered that evening, but we hope that the ones we keep asking for your peace and consolation will be, even if only in time. And we trust that beautiful Noah is singing now with the angels.

I was there at the beach and was one of the girls who had pulled him out. There has not been a day where I do not think about your son. My dad was also the first responder that helped your son.  My mom actually was the one who sent me the article, I was in shambles reading it.  My deepest condolences to you and your ohana as I know this is not easy. First, I would like to give my deepest condolences to you. My good friend sent me the link and I read it. It was my son who yelled out for help and another woman and I swam him to shore. I wish that we could go back in time and redo things that very day. Just know that he is now watching over you all and hears all the loving words that you all are saying.
