Noah's obituary
Noah James Harris passed away from this earth on May 5, 2023. He is survived by his father James Wesley Harris, Jr, of Haynesville, his grandparents James and Kathy Harris of Haynesville, his uncle and aunt Justin and Sarah Moss of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, cousins Jay and Brady Moss of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Anna Moss Martineau and husband Andrew of Ruston, LA, and a host of cousins.
Noah is a 2023 graduate of Claiborne Academy and was a Rebel since Kindergarten. He was enlisted in the Army National Guard and was scheduled to leave for boot camp July 3, 2023.
While he was at Claiborne Academy, he was a member of the football, baseball and track team. When Noah was in the 5th grade, he successfully broke both arms on the swing set. He may be the only child in school history to accomplish this task.
Noah loved to work out and Rafe Robinett “Bae” was his personal trainer. He wore a hoodie at all times like he was training with Rocky. Noah himself even became a personal trainer to several of the girls in the class and it was called “Noah’s Bootcamp”. He was very dedicated to them building their physique, even to the point of watching you tube videos to make sure they were training properly. Noah loved his classmates with his whole heart, and they were his best friends. Noah gave Patrick Garrett his nickname “Pat”. Some of Noah’s best times took place with these friends and his teachers. Noah was very inquisitive and always asked the best questions. He was known to listen while he was in class but was never very fond of taking notes. He really didn’t feel the need to take notes because it was all being soaked up in his “sponge”. He loved getting teachers off task, especially Dr. Maria but she was definitely one of his favorites.
If Noah was ever your passenger in your vehicle, he was snuggled up in his seat which was usually the backseat like you were his uber driver, with headphones in and his hoodie on and cinched up with his seatbelt off. He was not wearing the seatbelt unless you pulled a Sydney Garrett and said this car is not moving until you buckle up. If it was a long trip, like over 30 minutes, he was definitely going to sleep.
Noah loved watching scary movies, especially American Psycho.
Noah had a servant’s heart and always wanted to see other people happy. He was most definitely a people pleaser. Noah worked for Upper Crust Catering for many years where he never failed to greet customers with his sly grin.
Noah will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Donations may be made to the Noah Harris Scholarship Fund at Claiborne Academy.
