When we got the news from the doctors that Nillani's condition was terminal, the first things she said was that she was not afraid and that she was at peace. Nillani told us how much she loved us and encouraged us to keep pressing ahead. She was brave beyond measure and held a peace that surpassed all understanding. Even when Nillani knew she was leaving this earth her first thought was to reach out to those she loved with compassion and comfort. These are the memories that will sustain us and this is the woman we celebrate. We will miss Nillani tremendously and we are forever grateful for the time we were able to share with her and the way she enriched our lives.
