Nijewel rocked the Biology Department at Lincoln University with his larger-than-life welcoming attitude, passion for science and learning, and caring personality. We loved hearing from him after he graduated and will miss dearly both him and his enthusiasm. He was so excited to get more students connected with optometry. Our hearts are broken today, but Nijewel’s legacy will live with us forever.

Nijewel had such a vibrant personality. I will keep his amazing character in my memories.  I thoroughly enjoyed having Nijewel in my neuroscience research lab and class at Lincoln University. My prayers are with the family.

Nijewel you were the Noor of everyone’s life. You were such a great friend, so thoughtful and caring of others. Thank you for being the gentle giant you were. Thank you for all the help you’ve given me in college. Thank you for the laughs and smiles. Allah yarhom 🖤 May God give your family comfort and ease. You’ll truly be missed bro.

Nijewel was truly a gentle giant. A reliable and supportive friend who was always willing to go the extra mile for his loved ones. He lit up the room and had the amazing power of being able to bring a smile to your face at all times. I had the pleasure to call Nijewel my fraternity brother, my Sandz, and a friend. It was an honor to experience him and he will be deeply missed by many. My condolences to the Holliday family, his friends, and the brothers of Nu chapter.

My condolences, love, and prayers to Nijewel's family during this time. I first met Nijewel when I was ending my freshman year at Lincoln. We were both elected to the Student Government Association and from there, he became a big brother to me. Nijewel never failed to make people around him smile or laugh. He was never too far if you needed some motivation. It is a blessing to say I had the opportunity to experience his friendship.

Thank you, Dr. Holliday. I love you, numba. 🖤💛❤️🕊

Nijewel,  I’ll miss you always my brother. I’m so happy and thankful to have met you. We were just in Puerto Rico discussing how far we’ve come and goals for the future. I appreciate the Holliday family for bringing you in this world and raising you to be an impactful human being. One thing I can say is you’ve always been YOU. You never tried to fit in or win anyones approval. 

May God provide love, support, and understanding to Holliday Family. Love you always mentee #HollidaySeason
