It was South by Southwest, I think it was 2000 or 2001. We were there because Nieson volunteered us to sell beer at one of the stands . It was Mark McAdams, Greg Eickholt, myself, and some others from Hall Kinion. We had a blast that night!

At the end of the night, we were walking through the grass back to our cars and Greg in his wonderful personality (nicest guy you’ll ever meet) said something that was supposed to be funny, but it didn’t land. So I said, “hey Greg, where’s your cousin funny?” Gray responded, “who?” And I said “your cousin funny, cause you ain’t funny”.

It was funny, more so, because I think we had a few too many beers, so everybody was laughing hard! However, Nieson loved it!

Every time we got together through the years, he would remind me of that moment. When he would see me, he would ask me “hey, where’s your cousin funny?”

That is one of many great moments I remember with my man, Nieson. I love you bro!
