We sadly announce the passing of Nicole Carter on April 14, 2025. Nicole was born on September 15, 1982, a radiant spirit that left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Nicole was a woman of many virtues, her wit, tenacity, and caring nature were known to all. She had an uncanny ability to light up any room and could elicit laughter even in the hardest of times. Her spirit shone through her actions, and she was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Her life lessons continue to resonate with us; Nicole was a firm believer of never backing down. Her mantra, "Keep fighting," was not just a saying, but a way of life that she exemplified throughout her journey. Her resilience and strength were awe-inspiring, pushing us all to spare no effort in overcoming the hurdles life throws our way.

Nicole's legacy is one of kindness, humor, and generosity. The impact she had on those around her is immeasurable. Her genuine concern for others, her vibrant humor, and her generous spirit will always be remembered. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but the memories she gifted us serve as a comforting reminder of the extraordinary person she was.

Nicole is survived by her mother, Debra Sexton, her stepfather, Larry Sexton, her sons, Hunter Marler and Loran Hodges, her daughter, Nila Hodges, and her fiancé Brian Johnson.  She also leaves behind her father, Ronnie Carter and her brothers Michael and Christopher Carter. Her bright spirit will continue to live on through her family and the countless lives she touched.

Our hearts ache with loss, but we find solace in the knowledge that Nicole's spirit carries on in the love she left behind. We find comfort in our shared memories and the lessons she imparted. Nicole, we miss you immensely, but we are grateful for the time we had and the love you gave so freely.
