Obituary
Polish astronomer, Nicolaus Copernicus, died from a stroke on May 21, 1543. Nicolaus spent the majority of his life studying astronomy. In particular, the theory that the Earth was round. Copernicus attended the Universities of Bologna and Padua studying medicine and law. He became interested in astronomy after witnessing a lunar eclipse. This was the start of what he would dedicate his life to. He worked countless nights alone in the observatory built in one …
