Nicolaus's obituary

Polish astronomer, Nicolaus Copernicus, died from a stroke on May 21, 1543. Nicolaus spent the majority of his life studying astronomy. In particular, the theory that the Earth was round. Copernicus attended the Universities of Bologna and Padua studying medicine and law. He became interested in astronomy after witnessing a lunar eclipse. This was the start of what he would dedicate his life to. He worked countless nights alone in the observatory built in one of the towers of his town's wall. Nicolaus's heliocentric theory was developed by his tireless work of documenting astronomical observations and calculations. His works were published after his death. Sadly, he was never able to see the impact his works made on the world of astrology, specifically, that the world was round.
