I'm so sorry for the loss of Nick. I always think of him whenever Holidays come around, or when we Role PLay certain Genres. Lately with all that has been happening, I had been thinking about him just a little more and gave a prayer for him. The fourth had passed and with the weather oh-so-hot, and the Fair, it got me thinking and wishing him good thoughts of him and again; little prayers. <3

I'm not sure who has seen this yet but I found the video of Jim Costa speaking about Nick on the House floor. Wanted to share with others.

Still miss you Nick.

Your family has our love & prayers.  May God comfort you all.

We (Carlos & Dianna)  will never forget the first time we met Nick; he was 26 years old.  He arrived at his parents home shortly after we had gotten there.  It was chilly outside that day. The winds were pretty strong the night before; so strong, that some of Nick's parents' outdoor patio furniture were at  the bottom of their beautiful swimming pool.  That evening, Nick had came over to rescue the furniture.  To our surprise, Nick just took off his tee-shirt and jumped right in the swimming pool during the cold midwinter weather.  His parents had thanked him, and he was like, sure, not a problem.

Then the day of his father's retirement party, I will never forget Nick helping his grandfather (Steve's dad) get up and go to the car once the party was over.  Nick helped his grandfather, who had walked at a very slow pace get up with his walker and walked patiently by him to assist him as he made his journey to the car. When Nick's parents went to go help; Nick stated, I got him.  Then when Nick's grandpa sat in the car, Nick had placed his hand underneath the seat-belt buckle and explained to his grandpa that he just wanted to make sure he didn't hurt his skin (as he recently had his dialysis treatment).

We will always remember  Nick's  great  BIG  ♥

David and I became friends with him in 2002. We met through friends, gaming friends. Table top was a past time we would all get together for on Fridays or Saturdays. We also played World of Warcraft together. On one occasion, while playing WoW, Nick was in charge of the Raid. He placed Cowboy (David) and I into our groups, and made sure to iterate, "Stay out of the fire!". We got yelled at about the fire: "Get out of the fire!" . We could not find the box!!Chris and Nick were also clear on "Get in the hit-box, the red, hit-box!" So, when this fight began (in the game),  Cowboy and I were looking for a red square on the ground. There was none! We flailed about, and even asked one another "Where is it?!"Our characters, died, a lot. So there is a frustrated Nick asking us, "What are you guys doing?!" And Chris asks "What is going on you guys?!" Cowboy and I looked at each other and we answer in stereo; "We can't find the red box." Nick: "What red box??"Me: "The red box? The one you told us to stand in during the fire?"There is a long pause....Chris: "You guys really are healers!" And laughter from Chris, Nick and others.  We were confused, so Nick and Chris explain: "You know, the red hit box when you attack something??" We all had a good laugh, I wanted to hide from embarrassment, and we finally got the first boss down.
Our hearts are heavy for your loss.  Sending our love, thoughts and prayers.
