How you can help
At just 42 years old, on January 31st, 2020, Nicholas James Roseberry was declared dead. He remained on life support until the next day so that his organs could be donated. Not only did his love and consideration for others guide that final decision, but also it influenced his relationships with friends and family throughout his life - his loyalty was unmatched. Nick was a faithful partner to Tara Miller, who was equally devoted to him and their family. He was a loving, affectionate father to his 5 beautiful children - Julien, Lilly, Keaton, Penelope, and Oliver. His bond with his siblings, Nils, Paige and Caleb, was deep and unique. Despite any protesting on Nick's part, it was evident he was a momma’s boy - Jackie and Bob can attest to that. Family mattered to him, including his relationships with his step parents, brother-in law, nieces, and nephews.
Nick loved spending time with his kids (especially cuddling babies), reading, listening to music, skateboarding, and continuing to learn. He was a hard worker, taking pride in providing for his family. He had a golden heart hidden within a tough exterior.
Like many, Nick battled addictions. There were times he did well, working hard and supporting his family. Also, there were times of great struggle and difficulty coping with life. Recently, Nick made some searching life changes and was on a path toward recovery. He was attempting to rebuild his life, wanting the best for his family and himself. Despite that, hardships along with his father passing away, left him vulnerable in his fight against addiction. However, Nick's legacy lives on in the lives of his children and the lives of those who received his final gift. Nicholas James Roseberry will always be remembered as a man who loved deeply, gave from his heart, and meant every word he said.
Please consider donating any amount - large or small - to help support Nick's family as they prepare for his burial. All funds raised will go directly to funeral and burial expenses, with any remaining funds above the needed amount going to Tara and his 5 children. Thank you so much for reading, sharing and considering donating. Contribute
