Sending my condolences to Nick's family & friends. Nick was incredibly kind and will always be remembered for his big heart. He is incredibly loved and will be missed. <3
Rest in Peace. 💜✝️
You where a great guy Nick, I appreciated that you reached out to me when my old dog passed away and their where times we just screwed around at the
Bowling ally or the bar. RIP
dude.
We hadn’t kept in touch for some time since graduation, but he was a good friend to my younger brother and I always respected him for that. He was a great guy.

To my surprise he reached out for help while he was enlisting in the Army just this passed Fall. Even though you weren’t able to get there, I still call you my brother. Rest In Peace, Nik; my condolences to everyone he left behind.

Two of my favorite stories about Nick are the Halloween we dressed up as grandmothers, built a frame for a door that was laying around in his garage, and walked around the neighborhood handing out candy to to people. It was just such a silly and fun night.

Other great memory was the summer before our senior year of HS, when we had season passes to Lake Compounce, and just spent the summer goofing off and joking around there.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember sitting with Nik every morning of senior year talking about everything from school to politics. When I first moved out of Connecticut he was one of the only people who kept in touch. Nik was an amazing person and I am was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing.

I remember as a young teen hanging out with his sister at their house and here comes Nick but ass naked with a Nerf gun. He was young man God he must have been 7 or 8. His parents tried to get them to not be naked but it wasn't happening LMAO. He just kept running around swinging his... Nerf gun. I would see Nick walking everywhere later in life. Just him moseying on down the road listening to his headphones and every time I saw him I always have flashbacks of that day and how funny he was. I'd be stopped in my car sometimes and say hey Nick and he would just respond with a simple hey. He was a great kid definitely a gentle giant. And I'm sure he was loved by many . He will be greatly missed.
I remember thinking of Nik as a gentle giant in high school. I didn’t know him well, but he was a very kind soul. My thoughts are with all of his family and friends. Such a heartbreaking loss.
To the Elsner family,
My deepest condolences on the tragic passing of Nick. He and my son Michael and Ricky Haas were like the Three Musketeers back in middle school. I always remembered Nick as a big gentle teddy bear, who was always polite and respectful to me. I hope his memory will sustain you and all his friends.

From the bottom of my heart, I'd like to share my condolences to Jim, Naomi, Jamie, Jillian, and the entire Elsner family. I will keep you all in my prayers. Nick was one of my best friends in the entire world, and he meant the world to me. He didn't deserve this, but what he does deserve is to see just how many people on this earth loved him dearly, especially when he gave his love so freely. God bless, and if anyone ever needs someone to talk to, I will always be there. His memory will never be lost.
Dear Jim, Naomi, Jamie & Jillian,
We are extremely sadden for the horrific tragedy that your family has to endure with the loss of your son/brother. Please accept our most sincere condolences. Nick was a kind and gentle man who appreciated the small things in life and was always the first person to forgive anyone who did him wrong. We will extremely miss Nick coming over and visiting with us. He was always so polite & willing to help where ever it was needed. Nick, may you find peace and love for eternity. 🙏

God Bless - Debbie & Rick Haas
