Nhan's obituary
Nhan was born on November 1st, 1940 in Cai Con, Vietnam.
Ton Tran and her were wed in 1960, going on to have 6 daughters and a son; Hong ( Daughter) , Sebrena (Daughter), Connie (Daughter), Cam (Daughter), Sang (Son) , Dao (Daughter) and Ailana (Daughter).
Nhan excelled at propping up all 7 of her children and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She first did this by bringing her entire family and a nephew to the United States in 1978 for a chance at a better life after the Vietnam war. Whether that was with her husband through their business ventures, creating a new life in Minnesota as a restauranteur (after being Vietnamese refugees in Malaysia for 9 months) for her 7 children, 17 grandchildren and 1 great grand child . She made it her mission to improve the lives of her family and children.
Nhan was an amazing cook! When she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness to family and friends , she enjoyed traveling. She was constantly trying to learn new things; from mimicking and perfecting new dishes she tried, to learning how to use a ipad, to figuring out how to buy gold coins online at the age of 70. We will miss her greatly.
She is survived by Ton Tran (Husband) , Hong ( Daughter) , Sebrena (Daughter), Connie (Daughter), Cam (Daughter), Sang (Son) , Dao (Daughter) and Ailana (Daughter), Andrew (Grandson), Breanna ( Granddaughter) , Coen ( Great Grandson), Aaron ( Grandson) , Georgeanna ( Granddaughter) , Tiffany (Granddaughter), Calvin ( Grandson), Brandon ( Grandson), Carlysta ( Granddaughter), Kaitlyn (Granddaughter), Brayden ( Grandson), Justin (Grandson) , Alexandra ( Granddaughter) , Derek Jr. ( Grandson) , Henrik ( Grandson) , Anne-Katrine ( Granddaughter), Ethan ( Grandson), Alison ( Grandaughter).
