Ngoc "Ha " Tu, 75, of Boston, MA, passed away on August 02, 2022 after a  battle with cancer.

Ha Tu was born on September 1946, in Hochiminh City, Vietnam.  In 1979, Ha was one of the boat refugee and came to  California with her 3 children ( Daisy, Gary and Sherry) and later reunited with her husband Hieu To in Boston.  Ha landed her first job at an Asian market then the Sheraton Hotel until her retirement in 2017.  Ha dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother and wife, a loving and caring sister, and a supportive aunt to the family.  Ha Tu excelled at propping up family members and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether that was through difficulty or supporting  through passion, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others.

Ha Tu was a passionate MJ player and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found with her friends,  laughing and enjoying her time. We will miss her greatly.  She is survived by husband Hieu, children Daisy, Gary, and Sherry,  sons-in-law Henry and Tony, daughter-in- law Anna, grandchildren Ethan, Adrienne, Waylon and Lin, and 7 siblings Thanh, Lang,  Cam, Henry, Kenny, Michelle and Anthony.  Flowers are appreciated but in lieu of flowers,  any memorial contribution can be donated to the American Cancer Society.  The wake will be on Monday 8/8 from 5-9pm at Wing Fook Funeral Home, 13 Gerard Street in Boston, and funeral procession will be on Tuesday 8/9 at noon following the service  from 10-12pm.
