I have such fond memories camping with Neysa, Jim, and their family in Maine. (Emily was just a toddler and  Erin not much older).  Neysa welcomed me like family and was gracious in every way.

We would gather at our camp site or on Jordan’s Pond for popovers and lobster rolls to share the days adventures and enjoy one another’s stories. Kathleen and I biked 75 miles one day on the carriage roads leaving me with a very sore bottom. For some reason every at the table thought that very funny—including Neysa. Precious memories.

I was so saddened to read of Neysa's passing. She was my good friend and I enjoyed talking with her. Such a wise lady! My condolences to her beautiful family.

Our condolences to Neysa's family. We have been taking our eight year old golden retriever Darby to NHC Place in Farragut for about 3 and 1/2 years. She is a therapy/comfort dog and we are part of the University of Tennessee Vet School's HABIT Program. We met Neysa early on and visited with her about 1-2 times a month for over three years. She loved seeing Darby so much. And Darby loved seeing her, partly because she kept a bag of dog treats in the pouch on the back of her wheel chair. Neysa was without question our favorite resident there and we will miss her dearly - she was indeed a blessing to us. And what a full life of faith and service she lived - we were thankful to learn more about her life through the obituary. The attached photo was taken last fall, and we learned that day she shared a birthday with Anne.

We will sorely miss you, Neysa, and remember your graceful smile and soft voice.  May you rest peacefully in Heaven and find joy in Him.
