The last time I spent time with Uncle Neville was about two weeks prior to his passing. We were sitting next to each other in the church for family member’s baptism and christening. During the family church service Uncle Neville pulled out of his pocket a handful of candy and I took a life saver out of his hand. During service we joked a bit, talked about the church service, and the Bible. I always bring my Bible to church and that particular morning I was rushing and forgot my Bible, so I had to use my Bible app. Uncle Neville stated to me, always bring your Bible to church and I told him I generally do, but I left it that morning. We continued on listening to the service and then Uncle Neville pulled out a handful of candy again and I had another life saver candy. Weeks later I was back at the same church for Uncle Neville’s home-going service. Only if I could give Uncle Neville one of those life savers back, I wonder would he still be here, would it have saved his life? 😢 Uncle Neville is deeply missed and I will always cherish his advice! Uncle Neville you are forever in our hearts!! LOVE You dearly! 💜 -From your neice, Ms. P
