Nevaeh Calista Johnson, 17, of South Bend IN, passed away on Saturday, August 21,2021. Nevaeh was born on March 7, 2004 in Fort Wayne IN. She is preceded in death by her brother. Along with her mom, Nevaeh is survived by her son, Gabriel Deshawn Woodson; brother, Devin Slater; sisters, Railynn Daily; and nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.


Nevaeh proudly graduated Penn High School. Nevaeh was a free spirit with an infectious laugh and a captivating smile that would brighten the darkest room. Nevaeh had the biggest heart and would give all herself to someone in need. Despite Nevaeh’s sparkle and zest for life, she struggled with demons and hate throughout her whole life. It’s an heartbreaking experience to watch the ones we love deteriorate before our eyes. Information on the funeral to come.
