Neuman, 15, passed away on December 16, 2003 after a long and happy life. Even though [pet name] was just a cat, he was a loyal and comforting companion in our times of need. He was present for: [list of important events], and always kept watch over our home. Even if Neuman was a little [moody/feisty/unpredictable/aloof], the small moments of [love/affection/playfulness] made it all worth it. We were lucky to have had the amount of time we had with Neuman and know we will never be able to replace him.
