Update from Oct. 2, 2023

Dear friends and family,
I would like to update you all on the status of the memorial bench. We have confirmation from the Peoria Park District Board of Trustees that the memorial bench will be placed at the Prairie Planting just down the path from the visitor's center at Forest Park Nature Center. I will update you all once the bench has been placed there!

Nelson E. Teichmann, 80, of Peoria, IL, died on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at his residence.

He was born on April 5, 1942 in Lincoln, IL, to Harold and Lucy Marie Teichman. Nelson married Dietra “Dee” Duffala on August 30, 1980 in Peoria and she survives.
