I was gutted when I heard the news of Neils's passing. He was such a gentleman and his relationship with his family was inspiring. I will miss seeing him, laughing with him, and being around his positive spirit. Much love to the Poulsen family.

I was so sorry to hear about Neils's passing. He was such an amazing Father, Husband and Grandfather. I have been so lucky to know Neil by his daughter Alina. We have been best friends since college. I can always remember the gracious acceptance of us girls being great friends and always accepting me into their home.
Neil always had such a gentle presence and wonderful smile that could light a room up. This world was lucky to have him and to have his footprints and memories embedded in those who have had the pleasure in knowing him.
May god bless the Poulsen family during this time.

Dear Neils, the world seemed to stand still when I heard about you passing away… and it still does. With you, one of the most warm-hearted, most positive minded and most carrying people I have ever met has left our world. I have no words to express my sadness and my deepest grief. Over the last almost two decades when we have been working together, you have been so much more than just a colleague. You were a true friend, a mentor, a safety net, someone I always looked up to and learnt from, someone who always found a way to cheer us up in difficult times, someone who always took the time to appreciate other’s efforts. Always with a warm smile on his face and the gift to put a smile on other’s faces.
Your spirit is unique, your attitude is unique, your knowledge is unique, your character is unique. You are unique.
I miss you so much, Neils, and I know that so many of our colleagues feel the same.
Today is your birthday and I have lighted a candle for you as I always do for my closest friends and family. This birthday candle has been a tradition in my family since ever - it burns down over several days and helps to remind us all the wonderful shared moments and memories whenever you look at it. No matter if the person is still with us or has already left. Your birthday candle is burning and I remember your happy “Hi, it’s Neils” when joining our meetings, your slogan “PDM forever” when being on Sales Summit on Hawaii and your guidance “whatever your number is, double or tripple it” and many more.
While my memories circle around you, my deepest feelings and my condolences go to your family.
