To my brother in heaven. You are never forgotten in all our hearts. We miss you everyday. Our condolences go out to your beautiful family and friends. My prayer to all is that Neal is and was loved by all of us. Let us honor him by charing love for one another.  Please keep our eyes, ears and heart open to those around us. Listen and be there always. Share your love each and everyday.  God speed my brother. We still and will always have your 6. Love and miss you so much.
My condolences to Neal's family. I first met Neal when my family moved from Venezuela to Provo, Ut in the 80’s. We would often hang out with our families and speak spanish, have parties, Halloween parties and share laughter and play games.

My brother, I'm very sorry you passed on so soon and have gone away from your family here for a time. You had everything I could only dream of for the moment from a beautiful wife, own home, great kids, money, a lot of friends, etc. However, you died so tragically as if you didn't have any of that and it makes me sad man. I told myself honestly when I found out you died so sadly, "What are my chances?" I could only barely imagine the demons that haunted you so much. Even though you're gone, you will always still be a hero to me. Especially as a fellow combat veteran, you have my word, no matter how much harder it gets for me, I will never surrender or utterly give up on myself.  I know I am barely surviving but I will continue to live on. I am in pain all the time and can barely get relief. Yet, I want to live and try honoring your memory by doing all it takes to survive. I intend to bring down all the evil I can before I pass on. RIP brother. Till Valhalla where I believe you're still brave and live on. 🙏  🕊

2 years …. Already 2 years and the empty space you left is as big as your commitment to your family , your brothers in arms and your passions . I wish I could know you better , but sometimes a handshake speaks louder than many words . We are used to say no one left behind… you’re still on our side and in our hearts.

Till we meet again in Valhalla, may God hold you in his hands

Tender thoughts to Casey and the girls .

I left an important message for Neal’s wife on fb messenger. It is probably in the messages in her inbox. Can someone pass on this message?

Its important

My deepest sympathy for all of Neal's dear sweet family. To the immediate family members including his children, and their Mothers, and extended family members as well... loss isn't easy but if I can help even a tiny bit by my own experience in being his friend I can honestly say that Neal made a great impact on anyone he met and especially those who took the time and saw who he really was. His heart was a beautiful thing. Kindness, loyalty, honor and love for his kids and his family members, he was a great guy, and also he was an amazing and polite man. Someone you felt special growing up with and just  knowing that you were friends with the " Currey boys" you always felt like you were going to have the time of your life haha Neal talked me into rock climbing on a few occasions when we were teens and he was so amazing and gentle and calm. I loved it after he taught me. Neal wasa true protector of those he loved. Anyway, that's my experience with my friend Neal and what I saw from his actions was he was thee most honorable, brave and courageous man and I feel honored to have known him.

God bless the Currey family, Neal's mom, and his kids, and Elyce and  Neal's wife.

May Neal watch over you and his kids protecting them, Always and forever to the moon and back  xoxo

I was so sorry to hear about Neal's passing. He was an inspiration and one I would have been proud to call friend. As a customer, I had the pleasure of meeting Neal and Casey and other members of Ready Gunner, and I was impressed with all that he and his team had accomplished. Though hindsight might be 20/20, there are few things more painful than knowing someone so strong and seemingly positive was struggling to the level that Neal and too many other combat veterans have. Asking for help is hard for many, especially those who have been trained to do, "whatever it takes." Help is close by, and asking should come with zero shame.  Neal taught me that signs of struggle are often subtle. We as the beneficiaries of the sacrifices made by those who served, owe it to our combat veterans to speak up, to offer our heartfelt gratitude, and to help them with zero judgement, in whatever way we can.

I don't personally know you & your family, other than through Instagram, but you all seemed so happy. There is no timeline for grief & loss. I pray for you all to find a sense of normalcy & closure from his passing.
With heartfelt sympathy.  I pray for God's live to comfort Neal's family. I pray he may rest in peace.
I didn’t know Neal but respect and thank him for his service to our country. I wish the best for his family.
